Brandon Little founded Amalgamate Solutions on a straightforward premise: organizations dealing with radioactive materials and radiation-producing equipment deserve a consultant who can handle both the technical depth and the organizational complexity that real compliance work requires.
With over 25 years of experience in radiation safety, health physics, and regulatory compliance — and credentials that span the technical, operational, and business sides of the field — Brandon brings something genuinely uncommon to consulting engagements. As a Board Certified Health Physicist (CHP), certified Project Management Professional (PMP), qualified Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), and Laser Safety Officer (LSO), he can move from a radiation survey to a licensing strategy to a project plan without missing a step.
That combination isn’t accidental. Brandon’s career has taken him across the nuclear fuel cycle, government operations, industrial facilities, and academic programs — environments where the stakes are real, regulators aren’t forgiving, and the difference between a strong safety program and a weak one shows up fast. His military service shaped an approach to safety and compliance that is disciplined, thorough, and focused on getting things done — not just advising from the sidelines.
Brandon holds an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from East Tennessee State University, and an Associate of Science in Pre-Engineering. He is currently pursuing graduate studies in nuclear engineering at NC State University — because in this field, there is always more to learn.
When he’s not working with clients, Brandon is building out Amalgamate Solutions’ training programs, which will include a 40-hour RSO course and worker-level radiation safety courses launching in 2026.
